ScoreBug is a 4-inch screen for live scores, recent finals and upcoming games. Choose your leagues and favorite teams on your phone, then leave it on. Scores update about once a minute.

One glance tells you where the game stands.

The display cycles through the games you choose. A ticker runs along the bottom with the other current scores.

See the teams, score, game status and venue. Live games appear first.

How it ended

Finished games stay on screen for 12 hours, with the winner and loser marked.

NEXT

When they play again

Start times use your time zone. A favorite team's next game can appear up to 72 hours ahead.

Follow the sports you care about.

Choose NFL, MLB, NBA or NHL. Pick one favorite team for each league you follow.

SETUP

Set it up from your phone.

There’s no app to install or account to create. The setup page comes from ScoreBug itself, even before it’s connected to your home Wi-Fi.

    Plug it in

    ScoreBug shows the name of its temporary Wi-Fi network and a setup address on screen.

  2. 2

    Connect your phone

    Join that network. The setup page should open automatically; if it doesn’t, enter the address shown on ScoreBug.

    Choose what you follow

    Select your home Wi-Fi, leagues, a favorite team for each league and your time zone. ScoreBug checks the Wi-Fi password before saving it, then starts showing games.

Use a 2.4 GHz network

ScoreBug cannot connect to a 5 GHz-only network.

Changing Wi-Fi?

After about 75 seconds without its saved network, setup opens again. It keeps retrying the old network every five minutes.
